Player Ranking System

This model shows a possible division system for Pooky. This is a development prototype and not a final version; it should be treated as such.

After each matchday of a given League, players are ranking up or down.

Notable edge cases and problematic cases which have not been refined yet:

• When a new division opens, all other divisions have to reduce their amount of players, leading to some people getting disranked.
• How do we seed new players? After how long do we remove inactive players?
• Seems harder to guarantee average rewards for higher rarities, as a bad streak can take them down by a couple ranks.

Static items:

• Max players in a division is always 2x the minimum, passing this value generates a new tier.
• Top tier gets an extra [5]% rewards, which is not a parameter yet but can be updated from static code.
• Distribution between tiers is linear, it could need fine tuning.
